As Customer Development Director, you are the commercial driving force behind our growth within the existing customer base. You define and lead the strategy to accelerate customer expansion through upselling and cross-selling our software and AI solutions. You build and lead a team that identifies opportunities, closes deals, and further strengthens our value with existing customers. 

Challenge?

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for growth within existing customers (upsell & cross-sell) 
  • Lead, coach and inspire a team of sales reps focused on customer expansion 
  • Define clear commercial objectives, KPIs and growth targets per segment and product line 
  • Analyze data and customer insights to identify and prioritize sales opportunities 
  • Launch targeted campaigns together with marketing and customer success (account-based & value-based selling) 
  • Work closely with product teams to create compelling bundles, packages and new propositions 
  • Optimize sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting and reporting 
  • Report to the executive team on growth, pipeline and strategic insights 

Profile?


  • At least 7 years of experience in B2B sales, including several years in a leadership role within SaaS or tech 
  • Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record in upselling and cross-selling within existing customer portfolios 
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality 
  • Highly analytical: you use data to drive focus and decisions 
  • Strong communicator and influencer across all levels of the organization 
  • Experienced with modern sales methodologies (e.g. value-based selling, MEDDIC, SPIN) 
  • Experience collaborating across sales, marketing, product and customer success teams 
  • Affinity with e-health or strong interest in healthcare technology is a plus 
  • Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French are an asset)
