As a Key Account Manager, you are responsible for building and maintaining long term relationships with key customers. You act as a trusted partner, combining commercial insight with a deep understanding of customer needs, with the goal of growing market share and ensuring sustainable partnerships.

Challenge?

  • Managing and developing long term relationships with key accounts across multiple locations.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for key customers and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through the sale of products and services.
  • Translating commercial objectives into concrete account plans and actions.
  • Negotiating and concluding long term contracts, aligned with pricing, delivery timelines, and company strategy.
  • Closely following market developments, customer needs, and sector trends to provide relevant advice.
  • Collaborating internally with sales, product, support, and other teams to ensure a consistent customer approach.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Participating in exhibitions, congresses, and sector events to strengthen relationships and generate new opportunities.

Profile?


  • Minimum five years of experience in a key account management or similar commercial role.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to operate at different stakeholder levels.
  • Commercially driven, with experience in contract negotiation and long term customer management.
  • Analytical mindset, able to translate customer needs into concrete solutions and action plans.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Structured and organized, with a focus on results and follow up.
  • Team oriented, able to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, good knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Experience in a healthcare or IT environment is a plus, but not required.
